Job Details

• Responsibilities include:

  Participates in and supports the planning, development, and implementation of ongoing research projects as programmed by the researchers and principal investigator(s); Assists in grant writing and grant submissions working in collaboration with the PI and other researchers; Assists in manuscript preparation and submission to journals; Assists in providing administrative support to the research team by scheduling meetings and setting up conference calls; Works closely with the operations manager as support for hiring and orienting new researchers, volunteers or summer students/interns; Manage summer interns and volunteers; When required, help with the recruitment, interviews and follow up of research subjects. In addition, coordinate with community partners and other research team members; Collect pertinent and updated literature for different projects and publications; Development and corresponding tracking of IRB documentation; Assist in graphic, tables and other presentation of research data; Review, analyze, and synthesize existing literature and translate results of the literature review into eeveryday f language for mass audiences.

   

   

  Qualifications: Bachelors degree in relevant field of study; Organizing and completing time sensitive tasks; Willingness and ability to work in a busy environment with shifting and competing priorities; Ability to work well with all levels of Lab personnel.
