Full Job Description
This position is intended to provide additional resources to the Legal Department while providing valuable experience to a law student for the purpose of understanding how to effectively perform the indispensable role of in-house IP counsel from May 15, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
Job-Specific Duties include:
Entering and maintaining IP docketing information.
Organizes and manages patent prosecution deadlines
Administers and manages contract management database.
Researches all areas of Intellectual Property law
Handles a variety of legal requests from the business.
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Licensure:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Accepted to an ABA approved Law School in the U.S. required
Professional Experience:
Previous experience and general understanding of corporations or Law Firm preferred
Previous experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preferred

Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to a minimal amount frequently

Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) conducts drug screens and background checks on applicants who accept employment offers.
