Our office is positioned at the center of our projects with clients like Eisenhower Hospital, City of Palm Springs, Weintraub Real Estate, etc. We are a state-of-the-art General Contractor that leads in efficiencies, LEED and quality performance since 1993.
We are seeking a driven Accounting Assistantto support our office. This position will provide support for day-to-day functions of a quickly growing executive headquarters. The Accounting Assistant serves a vital function in the growth of our organization. The candidate is responsible for accurately working with AP/AR and general ledger activities associated with the Sr Accountant and requires a fine attention to detail. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, especially when facing deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Accountants and other financial professionals with creating and editing financial documents
- Organize the bookkeeping processes of the company
- Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
- Draft and report financial presentations
- Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Qualifications
- 3+ yrs. Working with Sage or Timberline accounting software.
- Good computer skills with a knowledge of common GAP accounting with prior general contractor
- Math skills
- Teamwork skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
