Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and performance of audits, reviews, and compilations (Prior A & A experience not required)
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements
  • Prepare business tax returns - Must be able to complete a business closing and tax return (1120s, 1065, 1120)
  • Prepare individual income tax returns
  • Manage client write-ups including recording cash receipts and cash disbursements, and complete reconciliations
  • Prepare year end 1099's
  • Prepare payroll and sales tax returns

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in accounting
  • CPA license or active CPA candidate
  • 2-4 years of public accounting experience

Software Knowledge – Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • ProSystem Fx Engagement
  • QuickBooks
  • CCH Tax Access
  • TeamViewer, Zoom, and/or other remote access technology
